Latest Massage Therapist signing up for the World Championship in Massage is Sascha Lang from Germany. The IMA has asked him to tell about himself:

My name is Sascha Lang and I am a massage therapist from Germany currently working at New Soul as a wellness therapist.

I specialize in deep relaxation massage treatments designed to help clients fully disconnect from stress and reconnect with their body and mind. At the same time, I also enjoy working with therapeutic and medical massage techniques to reduce muscular tension and improve physical wellbeing.

My massage style combines calming flow, mindful touch and targeted techniques, especially for the back, neck and shoulder area. I believe that a great massage should not only feel relaxing, but also have a positive effect on the body itself.

For me, massage therapy is a combination of relaxation, recovery and human connection. Participating in the World Massage Championship is an exciting opportunity to continue growing, learning from therapists around the world and sharing my passion for massage.

I received professional education and practical training in both medical and wellness massage therapy in Germany.

I completed three years of education in medical massage and hydrotherapy at the Staatliche Berufsfachschule für Massage München, where I developed knowledge in therapeutic massage techniques, anatomy, muscle treatment and physical recovery.

In addition, I expanded my skills in relaxation and wellness focused treatments through further education at the Master Wellness Akademie in Hamburg. This helped me deepen my understanding of holistic wellbeing, massage flow and client focused relaxation techniques.

These experiences allowed me to combine therapeutic knowledge with deep relaxation massage, which has become the foundation of my personal massage style.

It is a place where passion, knowledge, talent, and heart come together. I have learned from others, been influenced and inspired by incredible professionals, and I have also had the joy of teaching and sharing my own experience.

I had the honor of participating in the 7th Massage Competition held in Copenhagen, Denmark, last June about 250 over participants from 50 over countries.
During this event, I encountered numerous massage therapists who profoundly inspired me till now, we made connectionson social media, learning new techniques from them as well.
The competition venue was expansive and expertly designed to accommodate all categories of massage.

Mr. Jeppe, my greatest idol, was exceptionally engaged throughout the event. His energy seemed boundless, akin to a rechargeable battery, as he was present everywhere, capturing videos and photographs of all participants and conducting interviews with us.

Wishing all my fellow "muscle kneaders" the best of luck; may you enjoy this truly remarkable experience in your lives!

Jeg mødte Jeppe Tengbjerg for første gang ved det første World Massage Championship i 2017. Siden da har vi krydset veje mange gange, i forskellige samarbejder relateret til massageverdenen: internationale konkurrencer, danske konkurrencer, kurser, workshops, seminarer, masterclasses mv. . Her var Jeppe skaberen, arrangøren eller i det mindste var han en væsentlig faktor i dannelsen af disse værdifulde platforme for uddannelse, inspiration og promovering, for alle dem, der er involveret i massageverdenen, både som massageudbydere og som massageforbrugere.
