Sara, from the USA, brings over 15 years of bodywork experience to the 2025 World Championship. Raised on a ranch, bucking hay and tending animals, Sara developed a passion for therapeutic touch supporting her father’s illness with lymphedema. Her background in dance, Brazilian jujitsu and strength training infuses her practice with a multi dimensional approach delivering dynamic, fluid and effective sessions. In collaboration with her husband – a trauma therapist – Sara integrates somatic intelligence into her practice, guiding clients to deepen their body awareness and live embodied lives. This foundation, paired with an unwavering work ethic, drives her a unique and innovative approach to bodywork.

Trained in Seattle by world-renowned bodyworkers, Sara masterfully blends Table Thai, Sports, Lomi Lomi, and Fascial Release into holistic, client-centered sessions that nurture body and spirit. Her dynamic approach facilitates neuromuscular reprogramming while calming the nervous system; a recipe that she and her clients jokingly termed, the “massage drunk” effect – deeply relaxed yet revitalized.

In the Sports and Western Freestyle categories, Sara’s performances captivate with fluid transitions and precise leverage that prioritize breath, expansion and improved range of motion. Her innovative style earned a silver medal in Innovation at the 2023 American Massage Championship and a gold medal at the 2023 PNW Massage Open. Now practicing at Woodside Racquet Club in the Kansas City metro, Sara is building a community of massage therapists dedicated to innovation and excellence, with a vision to elevate massage therapy standards locally and beyond.

I had the honor of participating in the 7th Massage Competition held in Copenhagen, Denmark, last June about 250 over participants from 50 over countries.During this event, I encountered numerous massage therapists who profoundly inspired me till now, we made connectionson social media, learning new techniques from them as well.The competition venue was expansive and expertly designed to accommodate all categories of massage.Mr. Jeppe, my greatest idol, was exceptionally engaged throughout the event. Jeg mødte Jeppe Tengbjerg for første gang ved det første World Massage Championship i 2017. Siden da har vi krydset veje mange gange, i forskellige samarbejder relateret til massageverdenen: internationale konkurrencer, danske konkurrencer, kurser, workshops, seminarer, masterclasses mv. . Her var Jeppe skaberen, arrangøren eller i det mindste var han en væsentlig faktor i dannelsen af disse værdifulde platforme for uddannelse, inspiration og promovering, for alle dem, der er involveret i massageverdenen, både som massageudbydere og som massageforbrugere.Jeppe har ydet et kæmpe bidrag til at fremme massageværdier i Danmark og verden. Der kunne siges meget om dette bidrag og om hans egenskaber som professionel og som person. Måske allervigtigst er, at Jeppe Tengbjerg er en inspiration og et forbillede. Han samler flittigt viden og erfaringer, hvorfra han skaber en kilde til ny viden og erfaring til andre og giver den videre.I dag er der allerede mange mennesker i verden, som har nydt godt af det kolossale arbejde, Jeppe konstant udfører. Jeg har taget både grunduddannelsen, skadesterapeut, thai yoga massage samt sundhedsfaglig grunduddannelse hos tengbjerg massørskole og jeg er så tilfreds. Man lærer utrolig meget på kurserne og underviserne er så kompetente! Hvis man overvejer at blive massør, kan jeg på det kraftigste anbefale at man smutter til Næstved! :-)
