Roi Ja Maji, Myanmar
Latest Massage Therapist participating at the 2026 World Massageb Championship in Denmark is Roi Ja Maji from Myanmar. The IMA has asked her to introduce herself:
My name is Roi, and I come from a small village in Myanmar but currently living in United State. I discovered massage at a young age while helping my father with pain in his back and legs. What started as a simple way to help him soon grew into something more, as teachers and friends began asking for massages as well.
Their positive responses made me realize how much I enjoy helping others feel better. Overtime, this became a true passion. I never expected to turn it into a career until I came to the United States, where I saw new possibilities for my future.
In this World Championship Massage 2026, I am going to compete with the title “ Free Style Massage” (Estern Inspired). I am so excited to showcase what I have learned so far and learn from different professional as well.
“ Drawing from the wisdom of Eastern massage traditions, this freestyle session delivers a seamless flow of therapeutic techniques designed to restore balance and renewal”.
I graduated from Aveda Institute Wilmington, North Carolina, United State.
