Besides hosting the World Championship in Massage, the International Massage Association is together with our partners educating Massage Teachers. Our latest Teacher is André Guiddir from Germany. The International Massage Association has asked him to tell about herself:

My name is André Guiddir and I’m from Germany. Choosing to become a massage therapist wasn’t just a career decision for me – it was a calling from the heart.

I am a deeply empathetic person. I’ve always had a natural sensitivity to the needs of others. My calm and soothing presence creates a sense of safety and trust – qualities that are invaluable in my profession. It brings me true joy to support people not only physically but also emotionally.

For me, every massage is more than just a treatment – it’s an experience, a mindful moment where the person is at the center of everything. My goal is to provide each individual with a top-level massage experience and to actively contribute to their overall well-being. It’s a beautiful feeling to witness tension transform into relaxation and to help bring body and mind back into harmony.

Becoming a massage instructor was a natural next step on my journey as a massage therapist. It brings me great joy and gratitude to share my knowledge and experience—not just to teach techniques, but to inspire others and support them on their own path.

I believe it’s incredibly important to pass on knowledge—openly, clearly, and in a way that’s accessible to everyone. Continuing education, learning, and growth are essential parts of a fulfilling life. They drive our desire for development, both professionally and personally. I, too, remain a student—always eager to learn from great masters and deepen my expertise.

With the Massage Instructor Basic Course, I’ve created a foundation that supports massage beginners, offers new impulses for experienced therapists, and provides focused guidance for those training for massage championships. My goal is to be a reliable point of contact—bringing experience, heart, and true passion to this beautiful craft.

The next steps are already in motion: the Massage Instructor Advanced Course and my own trainings and workshops at the NOA – Massage Studio. A place where knowledge, quality, and passion come together to guide a new generation of massage talent on their journey.

I had the honor of participating in the 7th Massage Competition held in Copenhagen, Denmark, last June about 250 over participants from 50 over countries.During this event, I encountered numerous massage therapists who profoundly inspired me till now, we made connectionson social media, learning new techniques from them as well.The competition venue was expansive and expertly designed to accommodate all categories of massage.Mr. Jeppe, my greatest idol, was exceptionally engaged throughout the event. Jeg mødte Jeppe Tengbjerg for første gang ved det første World Massage Championship i 2017. Siden da har vi krydset veje mange gange, i forskellige samarbejder relateret til massageverdenen: internationale konkurrencer, danske konkurrencer, kurser, workshops, seminarer, masterclasses mv. . Her var Jeppe skaberen, arrangøren eller i det mindste var han en væsentlig faktor i dannelsen af disse værdifulde platforme for uddannelse, inspiration og promovering, for alle dem, der er involveret i massageverdenen, både som massageudbydere og som massageforbrugere.Jeppe har ydet et kæmpe bidrag til at fremme massageværdier i Danmark og verden. Der kunne siges meget om dette bidrag og om hans egenskaber som professionel og som person. Måske allervigtigst er, at Jeppe Tengbjerg er en inspiration og et forbillede. Han samler flittigt viden og erfaringer, hvorfra han skaber en kilde til ny viden og erfaring til andre og giver den videre.I dag er der allerede mange mennesker i verden, som har nydt godt af det kolossale arbejde, Jeppe konstant udfører. Jeg har taget både grunduddannelsen, skadesterapeut, thai yoga massage samt sundhedsfaglig grunduddannelse hos tengbjerg massørskole og jeg er så tilfreds. Man lærer utrolig meget på kurserne og underviserne er så kompetente! Hvis man overvejer at blive massør, kan jeg på det kraftigste anbefale at man smutter til Næstved! :-)
