Liliia Katerynets from Ukraine has just completed the IMA Basic Massage Teacher course. The International Massage Association has asked her to tell about herself:

Hello, dear IMA team,

Thank you very much for your wonderful course, I have learnt a lot of interesting things.
I chose your course because I am planning to open an additional online format in my school and also to upgrade my existing offline.

I am relatively new to massage – 3 years, but I am naturally kinesthetic (I learn the world through touch), so when I tried massage I found my place in the world. During this time I have had a lot of training in many different organisations. I won championships. I started teaching and judging directly with Lotus School from your association. I love to learn and grow above myself.

I really want to promote massage as an alternative to medication for certain diagnoses.

It is a great honor to receive the NMC Overall Winner Award 2024, and I am truly grateful to have Jeppe present it to me. The International Massage World Championships (IMA) in Copenhagen was an extraordinary experience. It provided a unique platform to compete with the best massage therapists in the world and learn advanced techniques at the highest level.The professional exchange, the valuable feedback from the jury and the inspiring atmosphere have significantly expanded my skills.
