Latest Massage Therapist signing up for the World Championship in Massage is Natasha Bussolo from Italy. The International Massage Association has asked her to introduce herself:

Hi to everyone! My name’s Natasha Bussolo and I’m 33. I come from Oristano, Sardinia. I represent Italy.

I’m very happy to participate in Copenaghen’s International Massage for the second time.

I first took part in this event in 2023 and I can’t wait to feel the same emotions and enthusiasm as two years ago.

I have won an award in 3 different championships where I got the third place in wellness and in the Asiatic freestyle. I decided to compete in these events for fun. I wanted to have new experiences. I thought I had been lucky because I didn’t feel good enough to win these medals.

What to say about myself?

I’m an autodidactic, a very creative person who puts her heart into everything she does. I have never stopped believing in my dreams and I have always risked to achieve my objectives.

My determination, my passion, all the people I met during my professional and personal growth have helped me become what I am. In particular, I want to thank my teachers who allowed me to improve and to believe in me.

Always attracted by the oriental culture and spirituality I have started my professional and personal growth path when I was 18. I have focused on a way of working that is deep, emotional, empathic: my massage implies a connection with the receiver and is meant to be spiritual, healing, introspective and therapeutic. My massages are wellness rituals, because I want to improve my clients’ well-being. Every person receives a tailored massage because I feel what they need. I have studied different techniques, Thai traditional and ayurvedic medicines in particular.

I’m interested in other techniques too: massotherapy, postural treatments, deep tissue, weight loss and body modelling, face and scalp rituals, wellness and Spa, energetic equilibrium. I have attended a lot of courses and masters such as the ones by Ima academic.

I can’t wait to participate in this championship.

I had the honor of participating in the 7th Massage Competition held in Copenhagen, Denmark, last June about 250 over participants from 50 over countries.During this event, I encountered numerous massage therapists who profoundly inspired me till now, we made connectionson social media, learning new techniques from them as well.The competition venue was expansive and expertly designed to accommodate all categories of massage.Mr. Jeppe, my greatest idol, was exceptionally engaged throughout the event. Jeg mødte Jeppe Tengbjerg for første gang ved det første World Massage Championship i 2017. Siden da har vi krydset veje mange gange, i forskellige samarbejder relateret til massageverdenen: internationale konkurrencer, danske konkurrencer, kurser, workshops, seminarer, masterclasses mv. . Her var Jeppe skaberen, arrangøren eller i det mindste var han en væsentlig faktor i dannelsen af disse værdifulde platforme for uddannelse, inspiration og promovering, for alle dem, der er involveret i massageverdenen, både som massageudbydere og som massageforbrugere.Jeppe har ydet et kæmpe bidrag til at fremme massageværdier i Danmark og verden. Der kunne siges meget om dette bidrag og om hans egenskaber som professionel og som person. Måske allervigtigst er, at Jeppe Tengbjerg er en inspiration og et forbillede. Jeg har taget både grunduddannelsen, skadesterapeut, thai yoga massage samt sundhedsfaglig grunduddannelse hos tengbjerg massørskole og jeg er så tilfreds. Man lærer utrolig meget på kurserne og underviserne er så kompetente! Hvis man overvejer at blive massør, kan jeg på det kraftigste anbefale at man smutter til Næstved! :-)
