Latest participant at the World Championship in Massage 2019 is Marjolaine Moreau from Canada. IMA has asked her to tell about herself.

My name is Marjolaine Moreau, I am from Québec, Canada. I learned swedish massage at Institut Kiné-Concept of Montréal in 2008. Since then, I have traveled the world to learn techniques such as Thai Massage in Thailand and Lomi Lomi massage in Hawaii. I felt in love with the traditional art of Lomi Lomi massage back in 2016 and since then been going there once a year to pursue my learning process from my amazing instructor Carrie Rowell (Hamoea Healing Arts).

For me, massage is more than work or a routine. It is a passion that I can express and craft with all the techniques learned over the years, as an artist. Holding a safe space for every client to let go of tensions and reconnect with themselves.

Being a participant at the World Championship, is a unique chance to meet massage therapists from around the world, all at one place. I am really grateful for this amazing opportunity to share, learn and be inspired.
