Latest participant at the World Championship in Massage is
MARCELITO TELESFORO JR from the Philippines. Here are his information:

MARCELITO TELESFORO JR. or simply called “Jun” has been a licensed massage therapist for four years now.  Although having learned the “HILOT” massage from his grandfather, Jun passed the required examination given by the Committee of Examiners for Massage Therapy (CEMT) in the Philippines, and since then, he has been providing freelance massage services to numerous clients.

In 2018, he officially opened his massage center called the Zen-do Massage Center, situated in the capital city of the Philippines, Manila City.  For this competition, he will be using the “HILOT” technique, a massage therapy rooted in the Filipino wellness tradition.  It uses pre-heated banana leaves to apply to the massage taker to determine energy flow obstruction. The therapy proceeds by positioning heated cups to the affected areas. Finally, light to medium pressure strokes with warm virgin coconut oil is applied to relieve the deep-rooted stress and the well-being of the taker.

“I got my training from my late grandfather, who is a practitioner of the “Hilot” massage.  But I passed the examination given by the country’s Department of Health through the CEMT.  I have included this in my short description.  However, I will provide the link to the website of the CEMT ( for reference”.
