Hi, my name is Manuela Reis. With 19 years of experience in the world of massage and wellness, I am a professional deeply passionate about the art of touch and the transformation it can bring. I am from Porto, Portugal, and throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working in various settings, including day spas, hotel spas, and both Western and Eastern holistic therapies.

I am a Master in Ayurvedic Medicine, Spa Manager, and CEO of Manuhari Concept Spa. I’ve dedicated my career to perfecting techniques and developing a unique approach to body and mind care. As a trainer and creator of a humanized massage method, I believe every touch should be filled with intention, respect, and sensitivity, elevating massage to a true art form.

As an Ambassador of the International Massage Association (IMA) in Portugal, I aim to promote excellence and recognition of massage as an essential tool for well-being and balance. My attentive eye for detail and my passion for therapeutic touch make me a representative of excellence in this World Massage Championship.

For me, massage is much more than a technique, it is a language, an expression of care and connection that has the power to transform lives.

I had the honor of participating in the 7th Massage Competition held in Copenhagen, Denmark, last June about 250 over participants from 50 over countries.During this event, I encountered numerous massage therapists who profoundly inspired me till now, we made connectionson social media, learning new techniques from them as well.The competition venue was expansive and expertly designed to accommodate all categories of massage.Mr. Jeppe, my greatest idol, was exceptionally engaged throughout the event. Jeg mødte Jeppe Tengbjerg for første gang ved det første World Massage Championship i 2017. Siden da har vi krydset veje mange gange, i forskellige samarbejder relateret til massageverdenen: internationale konkurrencer, danske konkurrencer, kurser, workshops, seminarer, masterclasses mv. . Her var Jeppe skaberen, arrangøren eller i det mindste var han en væsentlig faktor i dannelsen af disse værdifulde platforme for uddannelse, inspiration og promovering, for alle dem, der er involveret i massageverdenen, både som massageudbydere og som massageforbrugere.Jeppe har ydet et kæmpe bidrag til at fremme massageværdier i Danmark og verden. Der kunne siges meget om dette bidrag og om hans egenskaber som professionel og som person. Måske allervigtigst er, at Jeppe Tengbjerg er en inspiration og et forbillede. Jeg har taget både grunduddannelsen, skadesterapeut, thai yoga massage samt sundhedsfaglig grunduddannelse hos tengbjerg massørskole og jeg er så tilfreds. Man lærer utrolig meget på kurserne og underviserne er så kompetente! Hvis man overvejer at blive massør, kan jeg på det kraftigste anbefale at man smutter til Næstved! :-)
