Latest Massage Therapist signing up for the 8th World Championship in Massage is Liudmyla Shchehlova from Canada. The International Massage Association has asked her to tell about herself:

My name is Liudmyla Shchehlova — I’m a Certified Massage Therapist, originally from Ukraine and now living and practicing in Canada.
It’s a great honor to be part of this inspiring international community where the art of touch and professional growth are truly celebrated.

I graduated from the Canadian Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine (CITCM) and am a member of the Canadian Massage & Manual Osteopathic Therapists Association.
My core experience comes from working in Canada with women recovering from stress and surgeries, as well as seniors with chronic pain and mobility issues.

With a background in psychology (Bachalor of Psichology, Ukraine), I take a holistic approach in my practice, supporting clients both physically and emotionally. My sessions are grounded in trust, care, and presence.

For me, this championship is a beautiful opportunity to connect, learn, and grow — together with professionals from around the world.

I had the honor of participating in the 7th Massage Competition held in Copenhagen, Denmark, last June about 250 over participants from 50 over countries.During this event, I encountered numerous massage therapists who profoundly inspired me till now, we made connectionson social media, learning new techniques from them as well.The competition venue was expansive and expertly designed to accommodate all categories of massage.Mr. Jeppe, my greatest idol, was exceptionally engaged throughout the event.
