Latest Massage Therapist signing up for the 8th World Championship in Massage is Kiyomi Orihara from Japan. The International Massage Association has asked her to tell about herself:

I was a hairdresser. At Japanese beauty salons, we offer a quick shoulder, neck, head, etc. massage as a service after a haircut or shampoo.

My father is a chiropractor, so I also liked giving massages.

It happened at a salon when I was a hairdresser.

One time, I massaged a tired customer with stiff shoulders while applying cream around her neck, and the customer said, “My shoulders have been relieved.” And what’s more, the customer’s face in the mirror looked younger, and she was very happy.

It’s wonderful that busy women can feel at ease and relax, and at the same time, become beautiful. I was truly happy.

This is what made me want to become a therapist. The concept of my massage is to make women beautiful while also giving them deep relaxation.

I had the honor of participating in the 7th Massage Competition held in Copenhagen, Denmark, last June about 250 over participants from 50 over countries.During this event, I encountered numerous massage therapists who profoundly inspired me till now, we made connectionson social media, learning new techniques from them as well.The competition venue was expansive and expertly designed to accommodate all categories of massage.Mr. Jeppe, my greatest idol, was exceptionally engaged throughout the event.
