Kim Ten Hagen, the Netherlands

Latest participant at the World Championship in Massage is Kim Ten Hagen from the Netherlands. IMA has asked her to tell about herself.

My name is Kim ten Hagen (46 years old) and I live in the Netherlands. Born in South-Korea, but raised in the Netherlands. When I started my study for Integral Massage therapist, I discovered my real passion and talent for helping people by giving massages.

The way I work is a combination of the Western and Eastern influences. Deep work in some parts of the muscles and triggerpoints but also the softness of connection with the cliënt. It makes it complete.

I graduated for the Integral Massages at Positive Touch (www.positivetouch.nl) in the Netherlands. I have a certificate of Chairmassage at Essoterra (https://www.massageopleiding-esoterra.nl) and also followed some courses and workshop of Indian headmassage, hammam, balinese massage.

Also I have worked for a year at a very big SPA and Wellness-centre as a sports- and wellnessmasseuse. I have worked at the Amsterdam Marathon as a sportmasseuse and gave chairmassages at some events. For 4 years I have my own Massageparlor called Flow.
