Latest Massage Therapist signing up for the 8th World Championship in Massage is Khatuna Tarughishvili from Georgia. The International Massage Association has asked her to tell about herself:

Hello.I am doctor Khatuna Tarughishvili from Georgia. I graduated from Tbilisi State Medical University.

Then I studied massage and rehabilitation at the massage school “Avani”.Under the leadership of Professor Nikoloz and Ms. Lia Avaliani. In 1999_2000. https://www.facebook.com/share/18dFhtX7D6/

Massage is my secondary and successful profession.

My main focus is therapeutic massage, although I also practice other techniques.I work with children as well as adults. I have an individual approach to each patient.

In 2016, I implemented a project (under my leadership) “Preventive examination of children in 36 kindergartens to detect spinal pathologies.”

I studied physiotherapy in 2022.

I am an active member of the Georgian Professional Massage Association. I attend seminars, master classes, and participate in championships. Thank you to the association for this opportunity.

I participated in Italy – Spa Talent Italy 2023 and the Vlll Eurasian Championship in Azerbaijan, where I performed successfully.

I have been invited to the college _”Amagi” as a teacher.

Thank you to the world champion and international teacher and trainer, Gvantsa Khoperia, for the recommendation and support. She inspired me to go to the World Championships and show my skills.

I’m going to compete in the Swedish and Sports Massage categories.

I had the honor of participating in the 7th Massage Competition held in Copenhagen, Denmark, last June about 250 over participants from 50 over countries.During this event, I encountered numerous massage therapists who profoundly inspired me till now, we made connectionson social media, learning new techniques from them as well.The competition venue was expansive and expertly designed to accommodate all categories of massage.Mr. Jeppe, my greatest idol, was exceptionally engaged throughout the event.
