Jackeline Munoz, Spain/Brazil

The latest participant at the World Championship in Massage is Jackeline Munoz from Spain. IMA has asked her to tell about herself.

I am Jackeline Munoz, half Brazilian half Spanish, 48, living in the UK – Kent at the moment.

I started studying massage just as a hobby, 33 years ago. I used to Surf, so the main public who I used to practice on were athletes.

I have been living in Europe for 14 years. In Spain I specialized in spine in Begona Ferrero School.

I have worked for a very big and popular gym and for a luxury spa hotel. Also, for five years I was the official masseuse to all the competitors and athletes from International Centre of Windsurf in Pozo Izquierdo, Spain.

In Portugal during the weekends, I attended members of the Nautical Centre in Praia de Faro.

In England I have a studio at home to receive my private clients, and I currently teach people massage.

I have been massaging for 33 years. I love it!

Because a lot of people have told me that I am the best masseuse that they have experienced, I started to wonder if a massage competition exists. I looked for it, and found the Copenhagen Championships.

My motivation is to be amongst the best in the world, learn, teach new techniques and continue to cure people as always.

I hope to win the championship as the best masseuse in the world, and dedicate the award to my mother, the person who sparked my interest, inspired me and taught me a lot in massage.

The International Massage Association look forward waching Jackeline Munoz skills at the World Championship in Massage.
