Latest Massage Therapist signing up for the 7the World Championship in Massage is Ivana Valli from Italy. Here is some information about her.

Ivana has 30+ years of experience as a certified beautician and massage therapist from Italy. After her certification as professional beautician at the C. F. P. of Varese (https://agenziaformativa.va.it/), she started learning Eastern massage approaches, specialising
through a 4-year master course to become a professional Ayurvedic massage therapist (by the renowned company Lakshmi, held in Peschiera Del Garda), with a focus on the prevention of illnesses & the fostering of physical and mental wellbeing (2009).

She has later specialised for two years on Postural therapies techniques with Fulvio Gemelli, focussing on the ampuku therapy as well as postural massage and holistic physiotherapy (2010 and 2014).

In the following years, her passion about the Oriental philosophies and Traditional Medicines’ role for prevention of illnesses and fatigue led her to graduate, after four years, from the Zu Center (Milan) under the guide of Alfredo Baldassarre (www.riflessologiazu.it). This course allowed her to specialise in Traditional Chinese Medicine, namely on the techniques of foot reflexology, cupping, Moxa, semeiotics, etc. The focus of TCM is on the bones and on the reflex areas for the correct treatment of
symptoms (2021).

Furthermore, she has recently graduated in both the Entry- and Advanced-level courses of Vietnamese Facial Reflexology at Dien Chan Academy in Brescia (www.accademiadienchan.it, www.riflessologiadienchan.it): the focus is, again, on the impact of reflexed areas on the related organs’ wellbeing (2022).

More recently, on the 13th of February 2024, she took part to a course on freestyle massage with Mr. Jeppe Tengbjerg and Ms. Kinga Jenei at the Annabel school of Ms. Anna Baroni.

Ivana is enthusiastic and thankful to be taking part to the IMA World Championship in massage for
the 2nd time. She will be presenting, in the wellness category, two massages:

1) Holistic physiotherapy
2) Postural massage
