Latest Massage Therapist signing up for the 8th World Massage Championship in Copenhagen is Issa Ndoye from Gambia. The International massage Association has asked him to tell about himself:

My name is Issa Ndoye, a 36 year old massage therapist living in The Gambia.

I am a senior volunteer of The Gambia Red Cross Society with 15 years of experience as a cummunity worker specialized in health and environmental related activities.

I am the Founder and CEO of Home Of Relief Spa & Academy, a business within the Greater Banjul Area that specializes in providing therapeutic services such as healing & manual therapy.

Over the years, hailing from country wide, Home Of Relief has built a strong reputation in the wellness sector, humanitarian activities, community empowerment and youth mentorship.

At Gambia Youth Chamber Of Commerce , I currently serve as head of the Service Sector, serving as a representative of all youth service providers nationwide, and provides strategic advised to the Board of Directors.

My commitment and selfless service to development interventions is at a significant standing, accompanied by working towards progress for all service providers within the private sector.

My educational background:

I’ve graduated as Diploma in Massage Therapy / Physiotherapy at Golden Hands Academy on the 21st of July 2019.

Jeg mødte Jeppe Tengbjerg for første gang ved det første World Massage Championship i 2017. Siden da har vi krydset veje mange gange, i forskellige samarbejder relateret til massageverdenen: internationale konkurrencer, danske konkurrencer, kurser, workshops, seminarer, masterclasses mv. . Her var Jeppe skaberen, arrangøren eller i det mindste var han en væsentlig faktor i dannelsen af disse værdifulde platforme for uddannelse, inspiration og promovering, for alle dem, der er involveret i massageverdenen, både som massageudbydere og som massageforbrugere.Jeppe har ydet et kæmpe bidrag til at fremme massageværdier i Danmark og verden. Der kunne siges meget om dette bidrag og om hans egenskaber som professionel og som person. Måske allervigtigst er, at Jeppe Tengbjerg er en inspiration og et forbillede. Han samler flittigt viden og erfaringer, hvorfra han skaber en kilde til ny viden og erfaring til andre og giver den videre.I dag er der allerede mange mennesker i verden, som har nydt godt af det kolossale arbejde, Jeppe konstant udfører. Jeg har taget både grunduddannelsen, skadesterapeut, thai yoga massage samt sundhedsfaglig grunduddannelse hos tengbjerg massørskole og jeg er så tilfreds. Man lærer utrolig meget på kurserne og underviserne er så kompetente! Hvis man overvejer at blive massør, kan jeg på det kraftigste anbefale at man smutter til Næstved! :-)
