Ionela Roman, Romania
Latest Massage Therapist signing up for the 9th World Championship in Massage is Ionela Roman from Romania. The IMA has asked her to tell about herself:
I am a graduate of the Faculty of Physiotherapy (Kinesiotherapy) in Galați, Romania, where I began studying massage techniques from my first year of university. Throughout my professional journey, I have expanded my knowledge through specialized training at Corpore Vital School under the guidance of Radu Drăgan. Currently, I work as a Fitness and Pilates Reformer Instructor, integrating the principles of movement, massage therapy, and physiotherapy to promote health, recovery, and overall well-being through a holistic approach. I am motivated to participate in this congress to learn from international experts, exchange professional experiences, and further develop my skills.
Why I Chose Western Free Style Massage
I chose Western Free Style Massage because it is a flexible and highly personalized approach that combines various therapeutic techniques according to each patient’s individual needs. It allows me to adapt each treatment based on a comprehensive consultation and functional assessment, with the goal of reducing muscle tension, improving mobility, and enhancing overall well-being. I believe this approach best reflects my professional philosophy, where massage therapy, physiotherapy, and movement work together to achieve effective and long-lasting results.
Purpose
The purpose of my Western Free Style Massage session is to provide a personalized treatment tailored to each patient’s specific needs. The treatment plan will be determined after a detailed consultation and anamnesis, during which I assess the patient’s medical history, lifestyle, areas of tension or discomfort, and personal goals. Based on this evaluation, I will select and combine the most appropriate massage techniques to reduce pain and muscle tension, improve mobility and circulation, support recovery, and promote relaxation and overall balance. Therefore, the session will be individually designed according to the information obtained through the anamnesis and discussion with the patient.
I will represent Romania!
