Latest massage therapists to sign up for the World Championship in Massage is Ewa Jans from Poland. She is one of the Pioneers who participated online at the World Championship in Massage 2021. She is one of many therapists who has taken the IMA approved International Teacher Class. IMA has asked her to tell about herself:

My journey of Spa Well-Being started in 2012 when I graduated the massage course for advanced students at Academy of Professional Evolution MEDICA in Poland (http://www.akademiamedica.pl/ ).

Then I decided to go to London and finished Spa course in Steiner Training Academy. I took great opportunity and I had been working on Luxury Cruise Lines as a spa massage therapist for many years. There I met many therapist and acupuncturist from all over the world where I learned from them new techniques. (https://www.theonboardspa.com/)

Nowadays I work in Sheraton Sopot Spa in Poland.( https://www.sheratonsopotspa.pl/en/ )

During my work I had a several chances to teach new spa employees to solidify the procedures and the company values. I enjoyed it, so I decided to develop that skill. That’s why I signed up for International Massage Teacher Basic class. Finishing this Course helped me to improve my teaching skills. My journey is now more interesting. My art of massage is a combination of different techniques from Swedish to Deep Tissue massage including stretching, trigger and acupuncture points with holistic approach.

The IMA look forward watching Ewa Jans skills at the World Championship in Massage. It is also possibility for massage therapists to have an idea of what to learn from Ewa Jans classes.

It is a great honor to receive the NMC Overall Winner Award 2024, and I am truly grateful to have Jeppe present it to me. His experience and skills are admired globally, and he is not only highly knowledgeable but also generous and supportive.
