Latest participant to sign up for the World Championship in Massage 2022 is Chau My Trinh from Vietnam. IMA has asked her to tell about herself.

My name is Chau My Trinh, I’m from Vietnam.

I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in English.

I’m from the Cai Lay countryside. In Vietnam it’s a small town. Tien Giang Province was born in a family of Oriental Medicine majors in acupuncture, taking pulse and collecting traditional medicine .

From a young age, I studied medicine with my grandfather (who is a famous Doctor at Cai Lay My Tho.).

At the age of 7 until now I am still passionate about acupuncture points and anatomy.

I consulted the training program of Vietnam Spa Training and Development Joint Stock Company and I graduated here

After learning to do Massage for more than 10 years, I am still attached to the massage industry in the US. In 2010 I continued to study in the United States.

When I massage treatment for customers, customers are satisfied and come back to ask for many times, it is a happiness for me to stick with the profession until now.

I am working and researching for Acupuncture Studies. University of East West Medicine.

Acupuncture lock specialization. When studying in a program in the United States

teacher from Japan came to train shiatsu for us, I took many shiatsu courses.so I love this shiatsu.

I have a dream of becoming a really good shiatsu teacher. And also want to practice other massage techniques, I want to go out into the world to learn and interact with teachers around the world.

Jeg mødte Jeppe Tengbjerg for første gang ved det første World Massage Championship i 2017. Siden da har vi krydset veje mange gange, i forskellige samarbejder relateret til massageverdenen: internationale konkurrencer, danske konkurrencer, kurser, workshops, seminarer, masterclasses mv. . Her var Jeppe skaberen, arrangøren eller i det mindste var han en væsentlig faktor i dannelsen af disse værdifulde platforme for uddannelse, inspiration og promovering, for alle dem, der er involveret i massageverdenen, både som massageudbydere og som massageforbrugere.Jeppe har ydet et kæmpe bidrag til at fremme massageværdier i Danmark og verden. Der kunne siges meget om dette bidrag og om hans egenskaber som professionel og som person. Måske allervigtigst er, at Jeppe Tengbjerg er en inspiration og et forbillede. Han samler flittigt viden og erfaringer, hvorfra han skaber en kilde til ny viden og erfaring til andre og giver den videre.I dag er der allerede mange mennesker i verden, som har nydt godt af det kolossale arbejde, Jeppe konstant udfører. Jeg har taget både grunduddannelsen, skadesterapeut, thai yoga massage samt sundhedsfaglig grunduddannelse hos tengbjerg massørskole og jeg er så tilfreds. Man lærer utrolig meget på kurserne og underviserne er så kompetente! Hvis man overvejer at blive massør, kan jeg på det kraftigste anbefale at man smutter til Næstved! :-)
