Catherine Cerezo, Switzerland
Latest massage therapist/teacher to sign up for the World Championship in Massage is from Switzerland. Catherine Cerezo is a former participant who also participates at the IMA’s “Best Massage Promotion 2022” video Competition. IMA has asked her to tell about herself:
I am Catherine Cerezo, practitioner for 18 years now, and having created the house Fleurs de coton in 2012, I am now running for the 2022 World Championship, representing Switzerland for the 2nd time.
Combining my experience and the feelings of my clients, I let their bodies guide me, in order to provide the essential.
When I practice, the most important thing is to listen, to be empathetic and to understand the pain I perceive.
The attention brought to the external environment is just as important as the one brought during my care. This is why I take it to heart to prepare my work area in a personalized way, by creating a calm and careful atmosphere to establish a cocoon of well-being.
My curiosity and my desire to always learn new techniques are guided by one and the same state of mind: to improve my skills in order to offer excellence to my clients. Learning and continuous improvement are two guiding lines that join my ongoing determination.
I am applying for the Swedish massage category, as I like the physiological approach, and I’m also signing up for the face massage category.
Furthermore, for me this contest is a way to expand my professional horizon, and it’s really motivating and challenging. That’s a synonym of progress, and evolution.
I am glad to represent Switzerland at the World Championship in Massage, and look forward to learn more.
