Benita Bartoševičienė, Lithuania

Latest Massage Therapist participating at the 7th World Championship in Massage in wonderful Copenhagen is the winner of the Massage Championship of the Nordic Contries Benita Bartoševičienė from Lithuania. The International Massage Association has asked her to tell about herself:

I am a cosmetologist and massage therapist. I work at “SPA Vilnius” day spa center. Massage is not only work, but also my passion, my clients feel it too, that’s why in 2021 and 2022 I became the most beloved specialist of “SPA Vilnius” clients. I am happy to be able to provide my clients with a complete relaxation and experience, as I perform body and facial massages and treatments.

It is important,  why the client came to me, so the meeting always starts with a consultation. During which I find out the client’s complaints and expectations, it also helps me get to know the client and understand which procedure or massage would suit him best. During a massage, it is important for me not only to relax tense muscles, but also to relax mindful. Because sometimes it is enough to “turn off” the head, to relax the muscle tension in the body. I work in a big city, many of my clients lead busy lives and experience a lot of stress at work. That’s why I created my author’s procedure”Inner peace”,  the goal of which is to achieve complete relaxation of the body and mind in the shortest possible time.

Communication with the client is very important to me, so I also spend time on it after the procedure. I share my observations, we make a plan for future procedures, we discuss what the client could do for himself at home. I also pay a lot of attention to personal development, I am learning  new techniques and movements in accredited courses and from my colleagues. I am interested in the trends of massage and procedures, I follow various massage masters on social networks, I watch and learn from their videos on the YouTube platform.

I also consider participation in championships to be personal development, because it is a great opportunity not only to show what I know and how I live, but also to meet many different specialists in one place, from different countries of the world, get to know them, learn something from them and get new ideas for my future work

I graduated from Vilnius College with a bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy and obtained the qualification of a therapeutic Massage specialist.

I graduated cosmetology at the Vilnius Service Business Vocational School

Learned the secrets of Japanese facial massage from Diana Gervienė at JTVM Academy.

IQ Chiro facial massage and Hemolyphodrainage body massage from Constantine Berman at Elena Zemskova Massage School.

I am study ergonomics and freedom of movement from Rūta Stratkauskienė

I have also learned and still learning a a lot from my colleagues during internal trainings at “SPA Vilnius”.
