Latest Massage Therapist participating at the 9th World Massage Championship on July 3-5 is Andjela Milovanovic from Serbia. The International Massage Association has asked her to tell about herself:

My name is Andjela Milovanovic, I am 38 years old, married, and a mother of eight-year-old twins. By formal education, I hold a degree in Economics, and I have been professionally involved in massage therapy for the past 9 years.

Since last year, I have been an active competitor in massage championships, where I have won numerous medals in the categories of Partial Massage, Swedish Massage, and Wellness Massage.

My favorite category is Wellness Massage because it allows me to combine a professional approach, knowledge, and creativity, while also expressing my love for massage through movement and technique.

Throughout my competition journey, I have participated in several international massage championships and achieved significant results.

At the BTM Championship in Serbia, I won a bronze medal; at the Sarajevo Open Massage Championship, I won one gold and one bronze medal; and at the 4th International Massage Championship of Serbia, I won two gold medals.

For me, massage represents much more than technique alone — it is a combination of knowledge, intuition, energy, and dedication to working with people. Through my work, I strive to provide my clients with relaxation, relief, and complete attention to their individual needs.

My Education and training:

I finished my basic studies and enrolled in a master’s degree at the Faculty of Health and Business Studies of Valjevo University Singidunum

I believe that continuous education and professional development are essential for every therapist. For this reason, over the years I have completed numerous courses and specialized trainings in massage therapy.

I had the honor of participating in the 7th Massage Competition held in Copenhagen, Denmark, last June about 250 over participants from 50 over countries.
During this event, I encountered numerous massage therapists who profoundly inspired me till now, we made connectionson social media, learning new techniques from them as well.
The competition venue was expansive and expertly designed to accommodate all categories of massage.

Mr. Jeppe, my greatest idol, was exceptionally engaged throughout the event. His energy seemed boundless, akin to a rechargeable battery, as he was present everywhere, capturing videos and photographs of all participants and conducting interviews with us.

Wishing all my fellow "muscle kneaders" the best of luck; may you enjoy this truly remarkable experience in your lives!

Jeg mødte Jeppe Tengbjerg for første gang ved det første World Massage Championship i 2017. Siden da har vi krydset veje mange gange, i forskellige samarbejder relateret til massageverdenen: internationale konkurrencer, danske konkurrencer, kurser, workshops, seminarer, masterclasses mv. . Her var Jeppe skaberen, arrangøren eller i det mindste var han en væsentlig faktor i dannelsen af disse værdifulde platforme for uddannelse, inspiration og promovering, for alle dem, der er involveret i massageverdenen, både som massageudbydere og som massageforbrugere.
