Latest Massage Therapist to sign up for the World Championship in Massage is Yu Tung Katrina Wong from USA. The International Massage Association has asked her to tell about herself:

I am a passionate, self- disciplined and goal-oriented person. I love traveling, learning and experiencing new things. I am a yoga teacher, massage therapist and Esthetician. I fell in love with hand on healing massage since I received my first massage (Lymphatic drainage) in Asia when I was 14 (I bought a whole package with my pocket money). Since then, I have been practicing and self learning massage related body work. People told me I was born with a pair of magic hands. That has built me confidence to continue this field.

My massage is a combination of yoga, western and eastern massage with creative freestyle.

I graduated from Thai Massage Shivagakomarpaj from Chiang Mai Thailand in 2019 where I learnt my Thai style massage. I also graduated from Space Coast Education Center in Melbourne Florida where I earned my certificate with Basic Massage & Hydrotherapy program 500 hours. Afterwards, I become state licensed massage therapist.

The International Massage Association look forward watching Yu Tung Katrina Wong skills at the 6th World Championship in Massage in wonderful Copenhagen.

Jeg mødte Jeppe Tengbjerg for første gang ved det første World Massage Championship i 2017. Siden da har vi krydset veje mange gange, i forskellige samarbejder relateret til massageverdenen: internationale konkurrencer, danske konkurrencer, kurser, workshops, seminarer, masterclasses mv. . Her var Jeppe skaberen, arrangøren eller i det mindste var han en væsentlig faktor i dannelsen af disse værdifulde platforme for uddannelse, inspiration og promovering, for alle dem, der er involveret i massageverdenen, både som massageudbydere og som massageforbrugere.Jeppe har ydet et kæmpe bidrag til at fremme massageværdier i Danmark og verden. Der kunne siges meget om dette bidrag og om hans egenskaber som professionel og som person. Måske allervigtigst er, at Jeppe Tengbjerg er en inspiration og et forbillede. Jeg har taget både grunduddannelsen, skadesterapeut, thai yoga massage samt sundhedsfaglig grunduddannelse hos tengbjerg massørskole og jeg er så tilfreds. Man lærer utrolig meget på kurserne og underviserne er så kompetente! Hvis man overvejer at blive massør, kan jeg på det kraftigste anbefale at man smutter til Næstved! :-)
