Latest Massage Therapist signing up for the 8th World Championship in Massage is Nicolae Prip from Romania. The international Massage Association has asked him to tell about himself:

Hey massage family,

Back in 2006, I officially stepped into the world of massage—and I’ve never looked back. Since then, I’ve explored specialization courses, became an instructor, earned a Bachelor’s in Physical Therapy, and wrapped up a Master’s in Recovery and Rehabilitation (because apparently, I love learning almost as much as I love massage!).

Originally from Romania—the country I proudly represent at this Championship—I now live, work, and teach in Cyprus, where I run my own massage and recovery center.

Every day, I meet all kinds of people—some walk in wanting to be “fixed” in one session, others are loyal to their monthly massage ritual, few just being curious and many times they leave with that look on their face like “What just happened?!”—amazed that a pair of hands could change their story. Sound familiar? I know many of you have been there too.

My massage style blends Asian and Western techniques, with one simple goal: to ease pain, calm stress, balance their energy and help people feel truly alive in their bodies again.

Over the years, this led me to create my own signature method—Thaishiyu—a unique approach to manual therapy that I can’t wait to share with you during this Championship.

I had the honor of participating in the 7th Massage Competition held in Copenhagen, Denmark, last June about 250 over participants from 50 over countries.During this event, I encountered numerous massage therapists who profoundly inspired me till now, we made connectionson social media, learning new techniques from them as well.The competition venue was expansive and expertly designed to accommodate all categories of massage.Mr. Jeppe, my greatest idol, was exceptionally engaged throughout the event.
