Latest Massage Therapist signing up for the World Championship in Massage is this year Silver medal winner at the Danish Massage Championship Michael Pedersen. The International Massage Association has asked him to tell about himself:

My name is Michael Pedersen and I’m 54 year old.

I have been a massage therapist for 19 year. My massage is very much inspired by Art Rigs deep tissue massage and techniques. I do blend in some principles and stroke from Thai Massage and some Rolfing.

When I was younger I travelled to India and have been in India for around 2 years. On a mentally level my massage is very much inspired by my stay in India. In my massage I’ve had a strong focus on being precise in my touch and presure.

I always seek and sense “what energy” the receiver want’s to have in my massage. Strong/soft/sensitiv etc. I love to express my creativity when giving massage and for me giving massage is simply one of thing I enjoy most.

I massage from the core of my person and energy.

In 2023 I did win gold in swedish massage in Danish championship in massage and silver in the final.

Naturmedicinsk in Copenhagen (Deep tissue massage) School is now closed.
