Latest Massage Therapist signing up for the World Championship in Massage is Marie Andersen from Norway. The International Massage Association has asked her to tell about herself:

Hello! My name is Marie, I was born in Poland and lived in Norway since 2015.

At the Championship, I wish to represent two countries: my native Poland and Norway.

My early massage experience began when I was about 20 years old when I have received my first soothing massage, which was such an enjoyable experience that I wanted to learn how to do myself and help others through this skill. I earned a bachelor’s degree in Cosmetology in 2011 and after finishing my studies, I worked in a high-class beauty salon.

Since 2021, I have been exclusively practicing massage therapy, having started my work at Lily SPA, based at the Lily Country Club hotel which is situated in a picturesque location with a view of the golf course.

At the World Massage Championship 2024, I wish to be competing in two categories: Swedish massage and Spa massage. My spa massage encompasses a holistic treatment that includes lymphatic drainage, aromatherapy, and meditation. I am grateful that I may have this opportunity and I’m excited to meet a highly experienced therapist from around the world and learn from the best!

The International Massage Association look forward watching Marie Andersens skills at the 7th World Championship in Massage at the end of June in wonderful Copenhagen.

The International Massage World Championships (IMA) in Copenhagen was an extraordinary experience.
