Latest Massage Therapist signing up for the 6th World Championship in Massage is Lise-Lotte Carlsson from Sweden. The international Massage Association has asked her to tell about herself:

My name is Lise-Lotte Carlsson, I was born in the southeastern part of Sweden and will represent Sweden in this competition. I work as a therapist and have my own massagestudio. As a Therapist, I often mix different techniques to make an effective individualized healing treatment. I performance Advanced Swedish Classic Massage with the addition of Myofascial release, specific deep tissue massage, Cupping, Gua Sha (scraping method), Red Needling (Guasha+acupuncture+cupping), Hot Stone, Therapeutic Stretching and Energy Massage. I teach movement training, mental training and stress management, change and development processes.

I have a lot of help from´my knowledge in disease and injury theory as well as Anatomy and Physiology!

I have completed training as a certified masseur and undergone training as a Medical Massage Therapist & Certified Masseur. I will do the Certification in the future. In addition to this, I have trained as an Energy Masseur in both the short kata that is given on a chair, and the long kata that is given on a bench. As an energy masseur, I use technique that effectively treats acupuncture/meridian system.

I am very proud to mention that I have developed my own Migraine massage that allows the client to avoid or minimize migraines / headaches after one or a few visits.

I am now looking forward to meeting all the talented competitors, former world champions and everyone else who contributes to this world championship. I am so excited and I wish all participants good luck!

Category Freestyle Western: 4hand massage

Me and my colleague participant in the category with 4 hand massage freestyle. We synchronize our strokes in different techniques. With a mix of swedish classic massage for relaxation and a deep tissue massage with Gua Sha and cupping our clients give us so much credit.

Jeg mødte Jeppe Tengbjerg for første gang ved det første World Massage Championship i 2017. Siden da har vi krydset veje mange gange, i forskellige samarbejder relateret til massageverdenen: internationale konkurrencer, danske konkurrencer, kurser, workshops, seminarer, masterclasses mv. . Her var Jeppe skaberen, arrangøren eller i det mindste var han en væsentlig faktor i dannelsen af disse værdifulde platforme for uddannelse, inspiration og promovering, for alle dem, der er involveret i massageverdenen, både som massageudbydere og som massageforbrugere.Jeppe har ydet et kæmpe bidrag til at fremme massageværdier i Danmark og verden. Der kunne siges meget om dette bidrag og om hans egenskaber som professionel og som person. Måske allervigtigst er, at Jeppe Tengbjerg er en inspiration og et forbillede. Han samler flittigt viden og erfaringer, hvorfra han skaber en kilde til ny viden og erfaring til andre og giver den videre.I dag er der allerede mange mennesker i verden, som har nydt godt af det kolossale arbejde, Jeppe konstant udfører. Jeg har taget både grunduddannelsen, skadesterapeut, thai yoga massage samt sundhedsfaglig grunduddannelse hos tengbjerg massørskole og jeg er så tilfreds. Man lærer utrolig meget på kurserne og underviserne er så kompetente! Hvis man overvejer at blive massør, kan jeg på det kraftigste anbefale at man smutter til Næstved! :-)
