Lina Pateckaite, Lithuania
Latest Massage therapist signing up for the World Championship in Massage is Lina Pateckaite from Lithuania. The International Massage Association has aske her to tell about herself:
Hello everyone!
My name is Lina Pateckaite- a Lithuanian national who has been living in London for the past 8 years.
My first hands-on massage experience started as early as the age of 8, whilst performing a back massage for my aunt who through her positive impressions of my armature massage skills has encouraged me to continue pursuing this passion. At the age of 15, I joined a professional Triathlon, where I met a friend and later colleague teaching me fundamental massage techniques. Little did I know that this childhood/ youth experience was a stepping stone – later in adulthood becoming a full-time career.
My journey as a professional massage therapist officially began in 2018 when I obtained ITEC Level 3 Holistic Massage and Deep Tissue and Advanced Therapeutic Massage qualifications in London School of Massage, https://www.londonschoolofmassage.co.uk/ Since then, I’ve been working with clients and deepening my knowledge of the impact of mental and physical health imbalances resulting in various physical issues. Additionally, I researched different ways in elevating them. For example, practicing Yoga and Qigong has contributed to developing more intuitive massage therapy techniques to help clients not only relieve their body tensions and pain but also achieve their optimum health whilst at the same time creating a relaxing, rejuvenating, and enjoyable therapeutic experience.
Throughout the years of practice, I’ve realized that massage is both- an art and a body treatment and that combination of various techniques can aid in developing a personalized, holistic approach and positively contribute to enhancing an individual’s health and well-being, which is my ultimate career goal.
In the World Championship in Massage I will represent Lithuania.
I wish to meet like-minded people, exchange best professional practices, develop new skills, and most importantly have a great time and memorable experience.
The International Massage Association look forward watching Lina Pateckaite skills at the 6the World Championship in Massage in wonderful Copenhagen.
