Latest Massage Therapist signing up for the 7th World Championship in Massage is Katalin Beres from the UK. The International Massage Association has asked her to tell about herself:

Hello, My name is Katalin Beres, aka Kata.

I was born in Hungary, but I have been living in the United Kingdom since 2011.

I am participating in the World Championship in Massage for the second time, and I feel honored and grateful to meet with many therapists from all around the world.

Clinical massage and holistic therapies are my passion, and I have been working in this field since 2017 in my little business, Health and Soul Spot NI (@healthandsoulspot), in Omagh, Northern Ireland.

I graduated as a holistic therapist in 2017 and as a clinical massage therapist in 2019 and a reflexologist in 2021 at Healing Massage Ashbourne, Ireland, Co. Meath. (www.healingmassage.ie )

Since then, I have had many more advanced studies, courses, and certifications, but there is still a lot to learn from other therapists. That is my goal with my participation in the championship, because learning is the only way for self-improvement.

In the past year, I had a chance to gain deeper knowledge about somatic therapies and emotional release techniques. Which I was trying to build into my holistic practice. I am hoping to see more practical performances and useful movements and flows to improve my practice.

The International Massage World Championships (IMA) in Copenhagen was an extraordinary experience. It provided a unique platform to compete with the best massage therapists in the world and learn advanced techniques at the highest level.The professional exchange, the valuable feedback from the jury and the inspiring atmosphere have significantly expanded my skills.
