Latest Massage Therapist signing up for the World Championship in Massage is Hangyeol Kim from South Korea. The International Massage association has asked her to tell about herself:

Hi, My name is Hangyeol, Kim from South Korea, greetings from Seoul.

I’m so glad to participate in the huge competition in Denmark.

I am the founder of Spagogyeol, a spa based on the beauty of Korean tradition, and at the same time, I am an educator who teaches Korean massage techniques.

This method of massage, which blends a classical Korean massage with aromatherapy, is designed to loosen muscles and enhance flexibility by utilizing deep tissue techniques.

My major was Skincare and I graduated Eulji University from South Korea. I have acquired a vast knowledge of Korean beauty therapy, enabling me to become an expert in the traditional perspective on beauty and developed specialized skills for my profession. As a result of studying at university, I emerged as the winner in 2013’s numerous competitions that were held all over South Korea specifically focused on beauty therapy.

I had the honor of participating in the 7th Massage Competition held in Copenhagen, Denmark, last June about 250 over participants from 50 over countries.During this event, I encountered numerous massage therapists who profoundly inspired me till now, we made connectionson social media, learning new techniques from them as well.The competition venue was expansive and expertly designed to accommodate all categories of massage.Mr. Jeppe, my greatest idol, was exceptionally engaged throughout the event. Jeg mødte Jeppe Tengbjerg for første gang ved det første World Massage Championship i 2017. Siden da har vi krydset veje mange gange, i forskellige samarbejder relateret til massageverdenen: internationale konkurrencer, danske konkurrencer, kurser, workshops, seminarer, masterclasses mv. . Her var Jeppe skaberen, arrangøren eller i det mindste var han en væsentlig faktor i dannelsen af disse værdifulde platforme for uddannelse, inspiration og promovering, for alle dem, der er involveret i massageverdenen, både som massageudbydere og som massageforbrugere.Jeppe har ydet et kæmpe bidrag til at fremme massageværdier i Danmark og verden. Der kunne siges meget om dette bidrag og om hans egenskaber som professionel og som person. Måske allervigtigst er, at Jeppe Tengbjerg er en inspiration og et forbillede. Jeg har taget både grunduddannelsen, skadesterapeut, thai yoga massage samt sundhedsfaglig grunduddannelse hos tengbjerg massørskole og jeg er så tilfreds. Man lærer utrolig meget på kurserne og underviserne er så kompetente! Hvis man overvejer at blive massør, kan jeg på det kraftigste anbefale at man smutter til Næstved! :-)
