Latest Massage Therapist signing up for the 8th World Championship in Massage is Giovanna Pau from France. The International Massage Association has asked her to introduce herself:

Hi I’m Giovanna and I will represent France.

I’ve been working as a free lance massage therapist for four years. My massage combines californian, swedish, deep and thaï massage techniques.

My first school was the « Colibry Academy » and « Philippe Ferrer » in Lyon, but as I started competing last year, I discovered many different and amazing therapists and I decided to learn with them to grow up my level. So I went to the International Massage Camp in Italy, took lessons from Slav Marinov, Nadine Stark, ONG Thaï Massage School in Chiang Mai and Jack Humpich Poullard.

This is my first World Massage Championship and I’m looking forward to share this moment with other massage therapists.

I had the honor of participating in the 7th Massage Competition held in Copenhagen, Denmark, last June about 250 over participants from 50 over countries.During this event, I encountered numerous massage therapists who profoundly inspired me till now, we made connectionson social media, learning new techniques from them as well.The competition venue was expansive and expertly designed to accommodate all categories of massage.Mr. Jeppe, my greatest idol, was exceptionally engaged throughout the event.
