Latest Massage Therapist signing up for the World Championship in Massage is Gianna Straulino from Italy.
In 2004, Ivana meet Gianna Straulino (@elitevillasantina on Instagram) at the Ayurvedic Master Course in Peschiera Del Garda: the two have since been cooperating periodically to provide the amazing 4- hands massage experience. Gianna is too a certified beautician by the I. R. Fo. P of Udine (https://www.ialweb.it/), with 35+ years of experience, and shares with Ivana the same expertise on Ayurvedic Medicine techniques. Gianna is also a certified Yoga instructor from the YogaMea school of Misano Adriatica (https://yogamea.com/). The duo will be participating in the freestyle category and is absolutely thrilled to meet the other participants of the competition. The massage they will perform is the 4-hands massage “Synchro Abhyanga” (that implies the two therapists have developed a deep entente): with heated oils, the two simultaneously and rhythmically apply pressure and “knead” the muscles and elongate them, as if they are dancing. The purpose of this massage is to calm the cerebral hemispheres, as well as to stimulate blood- and lymphatic- circulation. Moreover, the massage promotes the relaxation at joint and muscular level, thus reducing anxiety and fostering emotional ease.
