Florence Laval, Belgium
Latest Massage Therapist signing up for the 7th World Championship in Massage is Florence Laval from Belgium. The International Massage Association has asked her to tell about herself:
Hello, my name is Florence. I’m Belgian and currently reside in the Netherlands.
I’m the owner of a massage studio in The Hague as well as in Paris. I have been practicing professional massage for 25 years. I graduated in physiotherapy in 1999 from Haute École André Vésale in Liège. Massage has always been my passion and was the core of my postural rehabilitation sessions.
During my years in physiotherapy, I continued to expand my knowledge in various fields such as Sophrology (Caycedo Level 4), Tuina, Ayurveda, Reflexology, Deep Tissue, Lymphatic Drainage, Cupping, and Sound Therapy.
One day (2015) , I had the opportunity to receive a Kobido massage. Admiring this technique, I was fascinated by it. I had the honor of being a direct student of Master Shogo Mochizuki for two years, during which I completed the first five levels. Since then, I have been practicing this art and complementing it with a variety of techniques such as Dien Chan, Cupping, Hinokibo, SFL, and Dry Massage. I also incorporate preliminary bodywork to improve overall posture. This holistic approach is what I call the Facelift Holistic Experience.
For the championship, I will present:
” Graceful Harmony”. This facial massage not only aims to rebalance the harmony of facial features but also to restore the grace and serenity of the body and mind. By integrating various advanced techniques, Graceful Harmony brings a profound sense of peace and rejuvenation, allowing the true beauty of each individual to emerge gracefully.
