Alexandra Fraser, UK

Latest Massage Therapist who is participating at IMA’s 7th World Massage Championship in 2024 is the new UK Massage Champion Alexandra Fraser.

Alexandra is highly experienced massage therapist. She has worked with elite cycling teams since 2009 travelling around the world at cycling championships and at the Olympics in London 2012. Alexandra has worked with London Welsh RFC and the London and Brighton Marathons, preparing athletes pre-event and helping them recover post-event. As well as helping athletes in field, she worked alongside the physiotherapists in London clinics and gyms.

In 2014 Alexandra has set up her own therapy room in the middle of picturesque Richmond upon Thames and currently works with range of medical conditions and genetic Neuromuscular Disorders such as MS and POMPE disease, cancer and stroke patients.  She took a part in Rare and Ultra Rare Disease Day 2018 in the Houses of Parliament in London, UK.

Alexandra won 1st place in the National Massage Championship 2023 in Advance/Clinical category and became an overall winner gaining The Judges Excellence Award Trophy.

In 2019 she won silver medal in Swedish Massage category at the World Championship Massage in Copenhagen. In the same year she became the finalist at the FHT Excellence Awards in the category Sports Therapist of the Year. 

Alexandra Fraser has qualified in and practiced Sports Massage Therapy in both the UK and Russia. In her native Russia, Alexandra studied massage at the Russian State University of Physical Education, Sport and Tourism. In London, Alexandra graduated from Essentials for Health School of Massage in 2014, gaining a BTEC 5 in Sports Massage and Injury Treatments. Alexandra went on to study Acupuncture and Dry Needling in Oxford University. Additionally she is a qualified Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Hot/Cold Stone Massage and Cupping Massage Therapy at London School of Massage.
