Izabella Kakol, Poland
The latest particpant at the World Championship in Massage 2019 is Izabella Kakol from Poland. IMA has asked her to tell about herself.
Hello! My name is Izabella Kakol. I was born and taught massage and physiotherapy in Poland. From April 2018 I live in Norway.
My first job was in Cyprus. I worked at the spa. After six months, I returned to study physiotherapy. During my studies I worked in several spas.
I always start my massage with a conversation. I believe that it is my duty to understand what the other person really needs. Then I listen to what the body has to say – I try to adapt to its rhythm. In the massage, I combine different techniques to make it possible.
Behind me, several massage courses. I made the last of them this year. I plan to continue my studies.
My most important achievement was taking part in the European Championships in Massage 2019 in Italy.
I am currently working at Farris Bad as a spa therapist (Larvik, Norway).

Physical Education and Sports at the Academy in Gdańsk in Poland (Master’s degree in Physiotherapy)
